RPA Latest News: Automation Has Doubled In Manufacturing Over Past 2 Decades

RPA is no doubt the most trending technology that changing thousands of companies. Latest report suggested that automation has doubled in manufacturing over the past 20 years.

Automation Has Doubled In Manufacturing Over Past 2 Decades

Monday suggested that RPA or Robotic Process Automation has tripled its manufacturing in the U.S in the past 20 years while doubled in other countries. These include replacing other categories and industries like manual workers.

According to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, in 2017, statistic claimed that automation increased from 0.5 to 1.8 robots for a thousand workers. This report is so mind-blowing that most workers are afraid that automation will take over their jobs.

Moreover, the fast growth of automation is affection huge number of occupation, including high-skill and low-skill levels. However, as for middle-skill occupations, the numbers seem worn out.

France Leading In Robots Production

A new study claimed that France is now leading the rest on the world in implementing robots for workers. It currently using over 140 robots for every 1,000 workers, compared to other countries like Germany and Italy which has around 120.

However, Germany and Italy are ahead of America in the use of robotic technology in all manufacturing sectors. This fact proves that automation is the hottest trend around the world right now.

What is Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

The automation of robotic processes or Robotic Process Automation has tripled its manufacturing for fundamental apps, just like your workers can do. Moreover, it can be considered as a workflow with many steps and apps can be taught to the software robot.

RPA can handle complicated procedures include managing forms, sending a return signal, checking the completeness of the form, filling the form in a folder, and updating a spreadsheet with the form title, the date submitted, and more. Also, its solution software aims to decrease the burden on the staff of repeated, easy duties.

RPA is created to help and ease functions and activities that require a huge amount of time and effort. Compared to the old automation that only focuses on managing one part of the process, limiting the growth and cut cost.

In other words, this is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) software and high-volume learning capacities. In other words, it can accomplish repeatable duties that humans had earlier to do.
